The Victorian State Championships Returns to Wyncity!

Each year, the Victorian State Championships bring together the very best bowlers from across the state — and once again, Wyncity is proud to be at the heart of the action.

The Victorian State Championships are one of the premier events on the Australian tenpin bowling calendar, bringing together the best bowlers from across Victoria to compete for state titles across a range of divisions. It’s a celebration of skill, strategy, and competitive spirit, where emerging juniors mix with seasoned adults and Masters competitors — all under the bright lights and lanes of Wyncity Keon Park.

For 2026, the tournament returns to Wyncity over two exciting weekends — February 7–8 and February 13–15 — with packed schedules of high-pressure matchplay across multiple divisions. Bowlers will compete for honours in Open, Masters, Junior and Mixed formats, creating a festival of fierce competition and unforgettable moments.

Past Championships have delivered standout performances from some of Victoria’s top talents, and this year’s event promises even more drama, rivalries and elite bowling action. Whether you’re a competitor chasing personal bests, a supporter cheering from the sidelines, or a fan of quality bowling, the Victorian State Championships are a must-watch highlight on our sporting calendar

Livestreamed Tournaments are coming to Keon Park

For 2026, we’re also excited to introduce livestreaming of our tournaments at Wyncity Keon Park via Replai! This will be our first attempt at bringing live action from the lanes straight to your screens, so we appreciate your patience as we get it up and running. We have high-quality cameras streaming pair-by-pair from lane 1–28, you won’t miss a single strike, spare, or dramatic moment. Open Champions

In the Open divisions, Brayden Warren and Bek Martin emerged as champions after navigating stacked fields filled with Victoria’s best. Their wins were a reminder that at State Championship level, there’s no room for lapses — every game, every spare, every strike counts.

Adult Restrict Masters

Mitchell Wardrop claimed the Junior Male title with a confident, composed performance that turned heads throughout the event.
Elouise Cocks took out the Junior Female division, demonstrating maturity beyond her years and the ability to deliver under pressure.

A Three-Peat on the Line

One of the most talked-about (and quietly dreaded) storylines heading into this year’s Championships is the Classic Mixed Doubles, where Wyncity’s own Jack Aldersea and Liz Totino are back once again… and yes, they’re chasing bowling history.

Already two-time defending champions, the duo are eyeing off a three-peat — a feat that has the rest of the field sharpening their game plans and secretly hoping this is finally the year the streak ends. Of course, Jack and Liz seem perfectly comfortable wearing the target on their backs.
