Recap: Bowling at Latrobe Sports and Recreation expo

What started as an idea from the youth of Gippsland turned into a reality this week - The Latrobe Sports & Recreation Expo held at the Gippsland Regional Indoor Sports Stadium in Traralgon.  Activities and sports from around the Latrobe Valley turned out to promote their benefits and Wyncity Morwell was there with an exhibit and one of the more popular activities on the day!

Promoting tenpin bowling in general and also the Junior 10 for 15 club, Wyncity was also part of the Competitions that ran throughout the event on the main court.  30 kids participated and with knockout stages, we eventually found a winner. Our winner on the day was Ethan who was very pleased with the 3 free bowling games he received for his victory.

A special thanks goes out to the Latrobe Valley City Council and organiser Alisha Brooks plus her team and the Youth of the Valley for creating this event!
